HELENA, /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* has stated that the timetable for bringing AT&T service to Billings, Great Falls and Montana Rural Service Areas (RSA) 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 has been accelerated and that it expects AT&T service will be available here by the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011.
- That is significantly sooner than the earlier estimate for introducing AT&T service by mid-2011. The addition of these service areas is a result of AT&T's acquisition of assets from Verizon Wireless completed in June 2010. Every residential Alltel customer in these areas joining AT&T as a result of the transaction will receive an offer for a brand new AT&T handset at no additional cost.
- Customers will be able to choose their free device from a list of the latest AT&T 3G handsets that are comparable to what they have today.
- Additionally, the vast majority of customers choosing free comparable devices will be able to keep their existing rate plans, and none of these customers will be required to assume an additional contract term.
Customers will also have the opportunity to upgrade to a new device, like iPhone 4®, for an additional fee and with a new two-year contract, with current AT&T rates and associated data plan.

Right in the heart of the Yellowstone region lies the Big Sky Town Center, a remarkable mixed-use commercial and residential community that is the natural gathering place of the area, where everyone comes together. The Town Center is a centrally-located, pedestrian-oriented village core that is fast becoming the ‘downtown’ and heartbeat of the Big Sky community. With about 20% of the 165-acre project now complete, the businesses and residences being built in the Town Center are part of the new downtown fabric of Big Sky, Montana.
Evidence of the success of the Town Center can be seen in the five new businesses that have opened their doors in the past few months, including a new coffee shop, an antiques and home furnishing store, an architecture office, and two real estate offices. This summer, the Town Center emerged as the place to be for community events and gatherings, which drew enough people to help convince these business owners to open up shop in the Town Center. This summer’s event lineup included a very successful and well-attended six-event Farmers Market featuring over 100 vendors, the second annual ‘Big Air in Big Sky’ freestyle motorcycle event, several free outdoor concerts, the Chamber’s Country Fair and Festival of the Arts, and even a Montana Shakespeare in the Parks performance. Winter events will include the Big Sky Christmas Stroll, pancakes with Santa, ice skating, rail jam, full moon parties, and others.
It is exciting to witness the continuing development of a small mountain town and watch residents and visitors gather to identify with its energy. A true ‘center of town’ feeling that has historically been absent in Big Sky has appeared as though it were always there. The feeling of an identity now allows one to imagine how the future ‘Main Street’ will be created with a vibrant retail and entertainment district which will reward the visitor with the expectation of diverse shopping, dining, and entertainment, and the local residents with a larger sense of pride in his or her community. These ‘main street’ amenities should greatly enhance the overall experience of The Biggest Skiing in AmericaTM at Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin.

New Capabilities Expand Consumer Credit Reach, Produce Higher Acceptance Rates for Lenders
BOZEMAN--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Zoot, a leading provider of advanced instant credit decisioning and loan origination solutions, announced the release of zAcquire℠ instant prescreen decisioning solution with Prescreen 3.0 capabilities. Prescreen 3.0 integrates new types of data into the instant prescreen process and provides a more comprehensive evaluation of consumers.
Additional data, when employed in a prescreen environment provides more accurate, predictive and cost effective credit decisions. Lenders are able to grant credit to a greater number of consumers, without changing their risk tolerance, and gain insight regarding the most appropriate credit product to offer. Supplementing traditional credit bureau data with more complete consumer information helps lenders lower their screening costs by ruling out certain credit applicants sooner in the process.
Zoot pioneered the prescreen process in 1992 by helping its clients create the first instant prescreen (or prescreen-of-one) solution in the country. Subsequently, Zoot became the first multi-bureau provider of prescreen-of-one solutions. While these changes revolutionized the industry, the unique issues facing today’s financial market have established the need for the next generation of prescreen capabilities, which the company defines as Prescreen 3.0.
Zoot has partnered with several alternative credit data sources to provide lenders with information that broadens the use and appeal of instant prescreen. More complete background data allows creditors to decision thin file and no file consumers that were not able to be scored previously. As quoted in the July 13, 2010 issue of American Banker Tom Johnson, vice president of product development at Zoot says, "We find that right now in the market there is a hunger for other data and additional intelligence.”

mtbusiness.com:
Kelli, tell us about Freeheel and Wheel.
Kelli, FreeHeel and Wheel:
Well, Freeheel and Wheel is all in the name. It's Freeheel stands for nordic skiing and Wheels for biking. Essentially we are a bike and nordic ski shop. We have both winter and summer outdoor activities taken care of!
In addition to bikes and skis, we have a coffee bar inside our store. We sell tons women and men casual and technical clothing. Almost a bike and north ski boutique, have to say. Melissa and I -- Melissa's my business partner -- started the business 14 years ago, just right after college. We have shared the same concepts throughout the existence of the store.
mtbusiness.com:
Are you a seasonal business?
Kelli, FreeHeel and Wheel:
No, we're open all year round! We do close about a week of the year and we do have off seasons but the only off seasons we really have is suppose like late April - early May, and the latter part of October - early November. Some of our busier times over the year is thanksgiving week, and our winter is a little bit busier than our summer. Simply that.
